Fall is here and if you are like me, it’s all about pumpkin spice and everything nice! So, why not take your pumpkin spice obsession further with pumpkin spice bath salts! Easy to make and perfect for a fall spa day at home! Here’s what you’ll need:
*Epsom Salts (get it here)
*Mason Jar (get it here)
*Pumpkin Spice Essential Oil (get it here)
*Orange Food Coloring (optional, get it here)
Step 1: Measure how much Epsom salts you need by filling up your mason jar.
Step 2: Pour the Epsom salts from your mason jar into a large bowl (if you want to give your bath salts an orange tint, add eight drops yellow food coloring and two drops red food coloring. Stir completely until combined. Also, it will tint your bath water, but the bath salts aren’t saturated enough with the food coloring to stain your skin or your tub).
Step 3: Add a few drops of pumpkin spice essential oil into the bath salts (you can also DIY your own pumpkin spice blend with four drops cinnamon essential oil, three drops nutmeg essential oil, three drops ginger essential oil, three drops clove essential oil, two drops orange essential oil and one drop cardamom essential oil).
Step 4: Stir until evenly distributed and pour it back into the mason jar until you are ready to use.
All you need to do now is run a tub of very warm water, add your pumpkin spice bath salts, light your favorite fall candles, then step into the tub and relax and until next time, stay happy, healthy and beautiful.
