My Beauty Empties March/April 2024 (Pt. 1)

Hello Everyone! The last 2 months flew by, and I have accumulated quite a bit of beauty trash, so it’s time for me to clear out my used-up beauty products and talk about what I liked, what I didn’t like and what I would buy again starting with skincare, body, hair, and nail care…

Skin, Body, Hair & Nail Care

Equate Beauty Hydrating Cleanser ($6.88) – This is a mild, non-drying formula that works just as well as the as the more expensive brand name hydrating cleanser for about half of the price. The consistency is the same, cleanses my skin the same and rinses off the same and my skin feels just as hydrated too. I have been using this for a long time and will continue to buy it again and again.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream ($100 for mini size) – This very, very small sample of this was sent to me and I absolutely loved this cream for my eyes (this was a little too much for my face), however, as much as I would love to repurchase this cream, I will not, it’s just a little out of my price range.

Curel Daily Healing Original Lotion For Dry Skin ($10.97 for 20 oz.) – This body lotion is fantastic! This keeps my skin moisturized and hydrated during the spring and summer months (I use Curel Ultra Healing Body Lotion, $10.97 for 20 oz., during the fall and winter months) and I will continue to repurchase this until fall.

Garnier Flat Iron Perfector ($4.73 for 6 oz.) – This contains Argan oil and protects hair up to 450 degrees! This keeps my hair hydrated while I straighten or curl my hair, the spray is a fine mist, which I like, and the price is right! I will be repurchasing this for sure.

Equate Nourishing Nail Polish Remover ($1.05 for 6 oz.) – this nail polish remover works just as well as the brand name polish removers, doesn’t dry out my nails or cuticles to much and I have repurchased a backup. Why spend more $$$ when you don’t have to!

That’s it for my skin, body, hair & nail care empties! In part 2, I will be talking all about my makeup empties (and there is quite a bit), so until next week, be happy, healthy, and beautiful!
